This website, abugfreemind.com, is run by Look Like Fred Limited (company number 07013145), trading as A Bug Free Mind ("we", "us", "our"), 8 Mallett Close, Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 1JE, United Kingdom. "You" means anyone who uses this website or buys from it.
The best way to contact us is through our support suite, which keeps every question, order query and refund request in one place. Our contact page has the details.
2. These terms
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the agreement between you and us when you use this website or buy from it. Please read them before you order. By using the site or placing an order you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
We may update these terms from time to time by posting the new version on this page. The terms that apply to an order are the ones shown at the time you place it.
3. Using this website
Access
You may use this website for your own private, non-commercial use. You agree to comply with the law when using it, not to use it to distribute anything unlawful, and not to do anything that could damage, overload or interfere with the site or with other people's use of it. You are responsible for your own internet connection and any charges for it.
Our content
Everything on this website, including the text, the books, the audio recordings, the free exercise, the videos, the images and the design, is owned by us or used with the owner's permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may read and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute or publish any of it, or the books or audio, without our written permission. "A Bug Free Mind" is our trade mark. All other trade marks and names on the site belong to their owners.
What you send us
If you send us a testimonial, feedback, a question or anything else, you confirm that it is your own, that it is true and lawful, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You give us permission to publish testimonials and feedback on this site, with the name you give us, unless you tell us otherwise. We may edit for length or remove anything at our discretion.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as Amazon, YouTube and Goodreads. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their terms or what you do there. Linking to them is not an endorsement.
Availability
We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or close any part of it at any time.
4. Buying the books
What we sell
We sell Andy Shaw's two-book process, Creating A Bug Free Mind (book one) and Using A Bug Free Mind (book two), as physical paperbacks, as MP3 audio downloads, or both. The formats, what each includes and the current prices are shown on the shop page. Prices are in pounds sterling; where a price is also shown in US dollars it is an approximate guide, and the amount charged is the sterling price (or its conversion by your card provider).
Placing an order
Orders are placed through our secure Shopify checkout. When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept it, and the contract between us is made, when we send you the order confirmation email. We will not accept an order until payment has been received in full.
If a product is listed at the wrong price because of an obvious error, or is out of stock, we may cancel the order before dispatch. If we do, we will tell you by email and refund anything you have paid in full.
Prices, VAT and delivery charges
The price you pay is the price shown at checkout at the time you order. Any VAT that applies and the delivery charge for your country are shown at checkout before you confirm. If you order from outside the UK you are responsible for any import duties or taxes your country charges on delivery.
Audio downloads
Audio downloads are made available to you immediately after purchase, and audio purchases include lifetime updates to the audio. Downloads are for your personal use on your own devices and may not be shared, resold or redistributed.
5. Delivery
We deliver physical books worldwide. Books are dispatched within 24 hours of your order being accepted, to the address you gave at checkout. Delivery times after dispatch depend on your country and the carrier. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of dispatch, please open a support ticket and we will chase it, replace it or refund it. The books become your responsibility once they have been delivered to you.
6. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days.
- Physical books: the 14 days run from the day you receive them. Tell us you are cancelling (a clear message through the support suite is enough), then send the books back to the address above within 14 days of telling us, at your own cost. We will refund the price and the basic delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the books back, or of you proving you have sent them. We may reduce the refund if the books have been handled beyond what is needed to check them.
- Audio downloads: by law, when you ask us to make digital content available straight away and confirm that you understand you lose your right to cancel once the download has started, the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies to that download. Our checkout asks for that confirmation.
This cancellation right is separate from, and in addition to, our 60-day money-back guarantee below.
7. The 60-day money-back guarantee
Every order comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with the books or the audio, contact us within 60 days of your order through the support suite and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. The refund goes back to the payment method you used. The guarantee applies once per customer.
8. Problems with your order
If what arrives is damaged, faulty, not what you ordered or the wrong quantity, tell us through the support suite as soon as you can and we will put it right: we will send a replacement, make good anything missing, or refund you, whichever you prefer. Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
9. The free exercise and our emails
The free Manifest $75 exercise is sent by email in two parts when you give us your email address. By requesting it you agree to receive the exercise and our emails about the process and the books. Every email has an unsubscribe link and you can stop them at any time. How we use your email address is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. What the books are, and are not
The books, the audio and the free exercise are educational material about how to think. They are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and they are not a financial product, investment or income opportunity. Nothing we say or publish guarantees any particular result. Readers' testimonials and reviews are their own experiences; your results depend on you and the effort you put in. If you are being treated for a medical or mental-health condition, carry on with your treatment and talk to your doctor.
11. Our liability
If we fail to comply with these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business losses, or for anything caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. We are not responsible for damage to your equipment or software from viruses or faults that get through despite our reasonable care.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. General
- If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Only you and we have rights under these terms; the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply.
- Notices from you to us should be sent through the support suite or by post to the address above. Notices from us to you will be sent to the email address you gave us.
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data and forms part of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your own courts, and if you live elsewhere you keep any protection your local consumer law gives you that cannot be taken away by agreement.
